01 — WHY
Some feelings are too close to become a diary, yet too quiet to carry the weight of a story.
SINZOO offers no answers and is in no hurry to explain. As life passes through, music, images and words become ways of leaving a trace that it was once here.
A road, an encounter, a thought understood for a moment. They become songs—and ways of continuing to understand life.
02 — HOW IT BEGINS
Feeling becomes sound
Feelings that cannot yet be fully explained are shaped into melody and lyrics. A song is not a conclusion, but a place to return to and understand that moment again.
Images hold the scene
Photographs and films preserve light, movement, people and place. Words carry what sound leaves unsaid, keeping some of the temperature of the moment in which the work began.
03 — MUSIC
SONGS FOR THE LIFE HAPPENING NOW
When no song understands who I am at this moment, I write one.
Some songs are reminders; some help with letting go. Others preserve a journey, people working together, or a thought that might otherwise disappear.
Once finished, a work is also left for anyone who happens to hear something of themselves within it. The songs continue to grow, and this site keeps their sounds, images and making.
04 — ONGOING
This is a creative record still in the making.
There is no complete ending, and no need to know in advance what it will become. New works will continue to appear with life, leaving evidence that this moment once existed.
